Private Sidney Griffiths

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present, other than that he was born around 1899.

Sidney Griffiths joined the North Irish Horse (either enlisted or called-up) on 8 January 1918 (Corps of Hussars No.72018).

He trained at the regiment's Antrim reserve camp until 11 January 1919, when he was discharged, being 'surplus to military requirements, not having suffered impairment since entry into the service' (paragraph 392 (xxv)(a), King's Regulations).
